The Toad-stool: hand turned sapele stool with ash inserts

This laminated block of sapele was hand turned by me on Britain’s Best Woodworker. Inset with ash dowels, this stool takes its shape from the toadstools of the English countryside.
The solid wood top has been treated with Odie’s Oil and measures approximately 30cm x 10cm. Set on a handcrafted 42cm tall tripod steel rod frame, coated in a hardwearing powder coat finish.
