Tarn: oak and emerald lux resin serving / display board

Oak (45 x 30cm) either side of a river of emerald lux resin, a smoky green-grey with a fine shimmer that gathers along the live edges and drifts through the middle like light on deep water. Pale flashes of sapwood line both banks, and on one side the grain breaks into a cluster of burr knots. Put it down the middle of the table with a few candles and the shimmer comes alive; it's just as good holding cheese, or hung on the wall.

Finished with Odie's oil: a food-safe, solvent-free wood finish that nourishes and protects both wood and resin, bringing out the natural beauty in every curve and swirl.
