Silver grain: oak live edge chopping board

A solid oak board with one long edge left the way the tree grew. It sweeps in a gentle curve, and the bark-side texture is still there at each corner. On the cut face you can see the silvery flecks of oak’s medullary rays, which only show when the log is sawn a particular way. I’ve kept the small knot near the edge because it’s part of the board’s character.
