Sea glass: spalted beech and emerald resin serving / display board

A long board of spalted beech (57 x 25cm) either side of a river of emerald resin, a soft frosted green with a fine sparkle, deepening to a darker green where it meets the live edges. The spalting has left inky lines and patches all through the pale beech, with a little cluster of burr on one bank. It looks like sea glass worn smooth, which is where the name comes from. At 57cm it's a proper centrepiece: cheese and charcuterie down the length of the table, or a long stretch of calm on the wall.
