There’s a Japanese tradition of repairing broken pottery with gold, kintsugi. The idea that a break, once mended, becomes the most valuable part of the piece rather than a flaw to hide. This slab cracked naturally as it dried, the way old wood does. Instead of disguising it, the splits are filled: deep-poured resin, filling the voids like a flowing river
Finished with Odies oil and brushed brass hairpin legs.
