Plum & Pearl side table

Cut as a full cookie from an English plum tree, this side table shows you exactly what was inside. Warm amber heartwood, annual rings telling decades of growth, and the deep purple that runs through plum’s bark edge like a watermark. No stain, no colour added. That’s all the tree.
A natural crack running through the cookie has been filled with gold pearl resin, following the fault line exactly as it formed. Finished on slender pale bronze hairpin legs that let the wood do the talking.
