Late harvest: oak and autumn vine leaves

Two pieces of oak either side of a wide river of clear resin, scattered with pressed vine leaves in crimson and claret, picked at the point in autumn when they’re at their reddest. The oak is kept plain and pale so the leaves do the talking.
