Deep end: walnut and sapphire resin

A strip of walnut along one side, with the rest given over to sapphire resin. Where the resin meets the wood’s dark live edge, the blue deepens almost to navy before fading to a soft, sparkling blue. A small board for two, or for one generous slab of cheese.
