The Jewel Collection: Moon (gift boxed)

Part of the Jewel Collection, a series of small format works where wood and resin meet in 15cm square.
 
This one is burr apple wood set in swirling gold pearl resin, the kind of surface that shifts as the light moves across it. The larger piece shows its full cross section, concentric rings radiating outward like a tree’s own map of time. The smaller fragment beside it feels like something washed up and kept.
 
Display it on a shelf, a desk, a windowsill. It’s not trying to be useful. It’s just quietly beautiful.
