Elm & blue / violet resin art work / serving board

English elm is something I absolutely love working with. It's got a strong, interesting grain ; these slices from a burr are no different. Combined with a blue/violet resin pigment, it creates a calming and mesmerising feeling of looking into water. This board would make a stunning gift for anyone who appreciates artisan, unique pieces; you can use it as a beautiful piece of art or as a centrepiece for a dining table to serve your cheese or charcuterie.
 
The board measures approximately 30cm square and is treated with Odies's Oil, which protects the wood and makes it stain resistant, moisture resistant and heat resistant.
