Double live edge French walnut coffee table

Much more subtle than its American cousin, French walnut is a premium hardwood, with a stunning grain that displays ripple figure. It's no surprise that many of the finest antiques were made from French walnut!
 
This solid piece of timber is a beauty. It's got two live edges and some stunning figuring and ripple across the whole surface. some small cracks in the wood (in the knot) have been filled with resin to ensure a completely smooth, finished surface. The wood has been sanded to a high finish and completed with multiple layers of Odies Oil to ensure it is protected. 
 
The table, which measures approxmiately 82cm x 57cm, has had black metal pin legs added, making it an eye-catching coffee table to enhance any living room. Longer legs could be added to make it a desk, please contact me for details.
