Hello

I'm Sarah Croot, the founder of Sarah, self-confessed wood-a-holic and part time, self-taught carpenter.

 

After taking redundancy from my role in the City in March 2021, I fell upon a passion for wood working. It all started as a way to manage my mental health challenges and it's grown exponentially since then, through natural curiosity and some wonderful people I have met along the way.

As a self-taught woodworker I was incredibly proud to be approached to participate in season two of Britain's Best Woodworker. With only a year of experience behind me, I competed against some extremely talented and inspirational people. It was an exceptionally hard, but immensely rewarding experience; I'm so proud of what I achieved and am delighted to have found a community where I truly feel supported and engaged.

 

My wood working journey continues and I can't wait to see what new skill I'll be learning on my next big project!
